Pack Structure:

Pack:

A Cub Scout Pack is made up of all the Dens and Scouts. It is led by an adult volunteer called the Cubmaster.

Dens:

A Den is a group of Scouts all in the same grade. Dens are led by parent volunteers called Den Leaders. Each Den has a name:

Lions: Kindergarten

Tigers: 1st Grade

Wolves: 2nd Grade

Bears: 3rd Grade

Webelos: 4th Grade

Arrow of Light (AOL): 5th Grade

Pack Committee:

The Pack Committee consists of adult volunteers who manage the pack's operations, including budget, schedule, training, and planning.

Meetings:

Den Meetings (Tuesdays 6:30 pm @ Second Ave):

A Den Meeting is a weekly meeting where each den gets together to play games, work on activities, build something, or just have fun. Den Meetings are where friendships are born, and progress is made toward earning adventure loops and pins. Parents are always encouraged to participate during den meetings. Den meetings are typically outside during good weather and inside for cold and wet weather.

Pack Meetings (Last Tuesday of the month 6:30 pm @ Second Ave):

Once a month, the entire pack meets for a ceremony to highlight the Scouts' achievements. Scouts sit together with their Dens.

Den Outings:

Each Den may choose to go on a hike, field trip, or have a special visitor. These outings can happen on a Tuesday during den meeting time or can be scheduled for weekends.

Pack Outings:

The Pack will schedule and host events for all Scouts, including campouts, hikes, visitors, and special activities.

Handbooks

Each den has a unique handbook that contains activities and requirements for advancement. The Scout Shop staff will assist you in purchasing your handbook.
